MALTA KANO, TX is a film by Dominic Walsh and Belgian artist Frédérique de Montblanc and features Japanese ballerina Hana Sakai and Domenico Luciano.  The film premiered at the Brussels Short Film Festival in April 2015 and was an official selection at the Festival Tous Courts Aix-en-Provence, France International Film Festival in November 2015.

MALTA KANO, TX tells the story of a couple in crisis where the husband and wife seem to be unable to tame each other anymore.  Through gesture and dance, the film explores the tragic yet beautiful metamorphosis one undergoes in the quest to preserve love.

Deborah Colton Gallery is hosting the Dominic Walsh Dance Theater Book Launch

Dominic and I are so grateful to Deborah Colton for generously hosting our Book Launch on December 12th.  She has a beautiful event planned in her extraordinary gallery.

In case you are not familiar with the Deborah Colton Gallery it is a continually evolving innovative showcase for the ongoing presentation and international promotion of strong historical and visionary contemporary artists worldwide.  Her current show, Codes of Hermes, is a solo exhibition of multimedia works from international artist Khaled Hafez, a Cairo-based visual artist and filmmaker.  Khaled Hafez's work will be on display at the gallery during the Book Launch.  For more information go online to Deborah Colton Gallery.

Deborah has been a longtime and passionate supporter of DWDT and was integral in the success of the company's New York tour in 2013 by hosting and co-chairing The Empire State of Mind fundraiser.  She has written a beautiful and thoughtful quote about Dominic included in the invitation.
