Gabriella Nissen is the owner of Gabriella Nissen Photography + Creative Services offering photography, creative direction and graphic design. Her clients include advertising agencies, publications, nonprofits, manufacturers and retailers. She is a contributing photographer to regional magazines and recently served as Creative Director for LOCAL HOUSTON Magazine (formerly 002houston Magazine). Her background in advertising includes art direction and fashion photography for Foleys Department Stores.
Gabriella recently published her first book in collaboration with renowned choreographer Dominic Walsh. The book Dominic Walsh Dance Theater is a photographic retrospective of the company. Gabriella also works with 4th Wall Theatre Company on their acclaimed poster series and other projects associated with the company.
Her work as a visual artist has been exhibited in art venues around Houston at Lawndale Art Center, DiverseWorks and Art League of Houston. She currently lives in Houston.
